We are so excited to have you joining us for Exit & Build 4 this year!
Please join us for the Exit & Build Farm Immersion Tours!
This is an important part of the event as it serves as a hands-on demonstration of what Exit & Build is all about!
All of the farms/homesteads are owned by local folks who have returned to the land and taken action.
Each location showcases a particular aspect of what it takes to not only live a more free life, but the practical day-to-day grind required to make it happen.
There are two regional tours.
Lunch is included each day’s ticket.
Space is limited so we encourage you to register in advance and plan your travels accordingly.
Carpooling is encouraged.

Belle Vie Farm and Kitchen is a gourmet food and duck farm in Central Texas.

You’re going to learn how to grow an abundance of food to feed your family and community and enjoy an amazing farm to table lunch.
Brianne, the owner of Plum Fabulous! Foods has been homesteading on 2 acres for 14 years and has been able to grow over 3,000 pounds a year on less than a tenth of an acre using simple, proven methods.
This tour includes a walk through her gardens and compost areas, a chicken and turkey run, and a workshop on bio-intensive gardening and homesteading tips.
She will also have her information-packed take-home guide, homemade bread & artisan goods available for sale. If you’ve ever felt intimidated about starting your own garden, you will leave feeling empowered and excited to begin.
Freedom Farms

Freedom Farms is a 20 acre multifunctional regenerative farm practicing permaculture and agriculture in Bastrop, Texas. We’re raising fruit and nut trees, pigs, chickens, organic veggies and herbs and making pickles, ferments, jams and jellies, bone broth, herbal teas, and dual extracted wilfcrafted tinctures. We believe deeply in the sacred connection between humans and nature and the food and medicine this connection provides.
We host events and offer others to host their own events in order to create a deeper connection to the land and to strengthen our communities. We offer the full abundance of the farm through a farm share program that features all the different unique products the farm is prodices. Sovereignty ranch where regenerative agriculture meets hospitality. On-farm restaurant and lodging specializing in events big and small. Giving you the opportunity to see the practices of regenerative agriculture at work and eat the food of the land in our restaurant. Coming soon, a regenerative brewery as well. Exit and build guests can expect a 2 hour farm tour as well as a delicious meal prepared by Mollie Engelhart and her husband Elias. The farm tour will be led by Mollie and her oldest son, Osmar highlighting many of the regen practices being implemented on the ranch.
We are considering have transportation out to Bandera which would be an extra fee. Doing this depends on how many people are interested.
Also, you will have the option to stay overnight in one of the short term rentals at Sovereignty Ranch.

– comfortable shoes or farm boots

– sunglasses
– anything that would help you keep comfortable in the Texas heat!
Due to the high attendance, please be punctual as the tours will start at the EXACT times advertised.
It is important that we travel with as few vehicles as possible provided limited parking at some of the smaller properties.
If you need a ride or if you have a vehicle and can carpool, please join the Telegram carpooling group to coordinate a plan in advance. We will email you a link to the group.

I release Live Free Academy and the participating farms, along with their staff, from any claims related to injuries or damages I might incur during the tour.
I consent to the use of any photos or videos taken of me during the tour for promotional materials. I agree to credit the respective farm for any photos I take and publish.
