I know because I’ve done my time in politics.
For 8 years I organized rallies at police headquarters, the city council, and the statehouse. I had ordinances get passed via legislation that I helped push forward through political action committees which I founded.
I’ve had legislation passed at the state level which I authored with the help of a state representative.
I was a campaign manager.
I campaigned hardcore for Ron Paul in 2007-8. I was a delegate to the Texas convention. I could’ve gone to the RNC in 2008. And I witnessed first hand how Ron Paul was sabotaged mercilessly by the Republican Party at every level.
And I voted in every single election that I was allowed to vote in.
But the sad reality was…
After all that work…
I came to the conclusion that all the political wins I helped achieve were empty victories. I only ever slowed the growth of tyranny. I never actually created more liberty.
What the Truth and Freedom movement needs more than anything else isn’t to “wake up” any more than we already have. We’re plenty awake as it is.
It’s not to show up at the ballot box and vote our way of tyranny (because that’s literally never happened and will never happen).
It’s not to march and scream in the streets (because some of the largest marches in the world, like the ones against the Iraq war, for example, completely failed to stop their plans).
No…
The only way forward I’ve found that works to take back our liberties and agency over our lives is to…
Use our creative and productive power to EXIT systems of control and BUILD a new reality of freedom
Many years ago, I set out to systematically maximize my liberty and prosperity in the most important areas of my life to liberate myself and my family from systems of control and put my life (and future) squarely in my own hands.
I found that the best way to do this is through what I call “Exit and Build.”
Exit means to break away from all the systems, institutions, and places seeking to control you.
Build means to create a lifestyle, community, and world that allows you to flourish as a sovereign human being.
Think about this strategy in terms of the 80/20 principle:
80% (or more) of your time should be spent on the things that are in your control. Your skills, relationships, communities, land, food, businesses, network, assets, income, and more. And figuring out how to leverage everything in your control to live the life of freedom you desire.
While 20% (or less) of your time should be spent on the news and conspiracies.

I’m John Bush and I’ve dedicated the last 22 years of my life to “engineering” Exit and Build solutions that lead to radical freedom and prosperity
I’m freer NOW than I’ve been in my entire life despite living in the most authoritarian times in American history.
How?
By choosing to take full ownership and control over every aspect of my life and designing my entire existence around liberty, autonomy, self-sufficiency, and resiliency in the face of tyranny. Over the years, I’ve become a leading voice in cryptocurrency, agorism, and counter-economics
I learned of Bitcoin in 2012.
I became a crypto activist and sent my first transaction in 2013.
In 2014, I traveled across the country with my family on the “Bitcoin Bus” to evangelize about the power of Bitcoin to grant everyone more wealth and liberty than ever before. It was also a social experiment to pay for everything exclusively in Bitcoin. It was a huge success.
Since then…
I’ve spoken at numerous conferences and events including The Texas Bitcoin Conference, Porcfest, The Greater Reset, and many more.
I’ve appeared on numerous podcasts and shows including The Tom Woods Show, The Pete Quinones Show, The Mark Moss Show, The Survival Podcast, and more.
And I’ve coached tens of thousands of people on Bitcoin and Monero for wealth and freedom, uncensorable transactions, privately buying and selling goods and services without any person or agency knowing about it, and more.

This community was nothing short of spectacular (I know because I lived in a 399 sq. ft. tiny home there with Rebecca and my two kids for a couple years before we got our 10-acre homestead).
She did such good work in that community, that a reporter from Insider magazine flew down to interview her and experience first-hand the intentional community she was helping to grow.
Rebecca helped spearhead the food production systems on our 10-acre homestead, Radical Roots Ranch.
We currently have 12 wicking garden beds. A chicken coop with 8 hens, 1 rooster, and 2 ducks. A buzzing beehive.
And on top of all that, we operate a small intentional community on our property with 2 members and room for at least one more.
